Christmas in July, a little fun to break the heat

It is so hot here in the DC area, I think a little Christmas will help. So, I am posting some pictures of my mother's dollhouse from Christmas. A WWII child-evacuee from the east end of London, my mother wanted to create a Christmas that did not exist during the war. We turned her Greenleaf Harrison dollhouse into a 1930s stockbroker house, invited the vicar, and the local gentry, set out a feast and had fun. (Since clothing was rationed, villagers showed up wearing clothing from many different eras, and of course, the local pets were also invited.)

Everyone got in on the fun,

Wishing you only good things, Neen
