Nope, I don't buy it. So what does the future look like? This?
Or, maybe we really can't know what the future will look like, but we can certainly have fun guessing. So, perhaps we start with this*:
And possibly this^:
With a lot of this^?:
Hmmm, maybe, and there are a few contests out there that these ideas could be tested in. . . .
Wishing you only good things, Neen

Love the space age office desk and chairs and the glass stairs. Fascinating glimpse of a possible future. Stirs the imagination.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is very inspiring isn't it!

Are you dropping hints? I like the idea of a futuristic house!
ReplyDeleteThat would be a lot of fun, and I could make it extremely modern (to say the least). I knew you would get it!
DeleteCheers, Neen
Hmmmmmmmm...indeed.!
ReplyDeleteYep (you definitely get it!)
DeleteCheers, Neen
I do like your vision of the future...clean lines and uncluttered (I wish I could make that happen in real life)! It's closer than we think...remember The Jetsons?
DeleteI think they are uncluttered only because there is storage everywhere! Push a button, and a messy craft room slides into a wall, to be replaced by a sleek uncluttered desk. I know I would build storage into any room I designed. I love The Jetsons, especially Astro, and Rosie. I agree, the future is very close, we have everything the Jetsons had except our own flying cars (and robots with personalities), but, who knows, we may get those soon!

you know Im a 1960's classic Italian Horror/Sci-fi Chick and I would totally love doing a space station lunch room or goth castle with swinging london furniture..maybe we can do a challenge :)

How cool! Which movies? Do they have scenes like the scenes in "2001" and the restaurant in "Clockwork Orange"? A challenge to show a room from the future, no matter how bizarre or what year, as long as it is the future? I like it, let's do it!
DeleteI'm sure you are thinking of making some sort of incredible mini with those ideas. Have fun!
